When kids come to Aloha Beach Camp, one of the first things they want to do is learn to surf. Learning to surf at camp involves many steps. Campers do not enter the water with a surfboard until they've first had instructional lessons on the sand. Part of their "dry-land surfing lesson" involves learning all about the surfboard, its various components, how to balance on it, and more. Here is a photo of our Keiki Camp director, Matt Duda (otherwise known as "Tarzan" to the kids) giving a small group of Aloha Beach Camp kids their very first surfing lesson at Zuma Beach.
