How to sign up for camp according to a schedule that works best for you, NOT one that works best for the camp
I was talking on the phone with a parent this morning (let's call her "Mary") who's sending her 10-year old son to our Kahuna Camp program this summer because she prefers our flexible day-by-day enrollment format compared to other camps' session-based enrollment requirements.
With day-by-day enrollment, Mary (and everyone else who signs up for Aloha Beach Camp this year) can send her son to camp on a customized schedule she creates by herself. That means she can pick a day here, a day there, and mix and match days and dates all summer to come up with a registration schedule that works best for her busy family.
She can also make changes to her son's initial enrollment schedule on an as-needed basis, and even sign up for extra days at the last minute.
Like most parents, Mary views Aloha Beach Camp's day-by-day enrollment format to be more "customer-friendly" than having to plan her family's summer around rigid, one-size-fits all, cookie-cutter enrollment session dates. She also noted that being allowed to pick and choose her son's own camp attendance dates is more respectful of today's busy families who typically juggling all kinds of different schedules at once. Mary said all this to me verbatim.
Maybe we'll get around to hiring Mary as our spokesperson one day :) Meanwhile, if you'd like to join the growing ranks of L.A. families who are saying "no thanks" to session-based enrollment and choosing customer-friendly enrollment instead, here's Aloha Beach Camp's 2016 enrollment form so you can sign up for camp today.
